PASTORS FOR JESUS
Pastors for Jesus is a team of senior pastors united
to help each other effectively reach El Paso for Jesus.
Launched in July 1993, Pastors for Jesus gathers senior pastors at
a free monthly luncheon hosted by churches on the third Wednesdays from
11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The 10th anniversary of these luncheons was
joyously celebrated in July 2003. A sample agenda and schedule is posted
below.
The Pastors for Jesus vision is as follows: We believe that El Paso/Juarez
is becoming an EXAMPLE by uniting the body of Christ and taking actions
as directed by Jesus. We have faith that our Heavenly Father can draw
at least 1 million people from our area to Jesus by the end of 2005.
Some of the outreaches involving Pastors for Jesus have included Luis
Palau Crusade (1997), Heaven=s Gate & Hell=s Flames (1997), Year
of the Bible A5 minutes a day@ (1997), Year of the Family (1998), Year
of the Neighbor (1999), Book of Hope (2000; 70,000 booklets distributed)
and Hour for Jesus (2001 & 2003; 100,000 doorknob hangers distributed

about 5 pastors. It’s called Pastors in Covenant.
