Pastor of Prayer Ministry Vision:

  • To help pastors and churches recognize the importance of prayer for Jesus’ live-transforming power and love to flow into the church and out through the church into the community.
  • To help pastors and churches make prayer more foundational in their ministry and mission for Jesus.
  • To help pastors and churches in “Mobilizing Your Church to Pray!.”
  • To establish a Church Prayer Coordinator’s Network in El Paso.

Pastor of Prayer Ministry:

Visit pastors as a caring friend to offer a listening, caring ear and personal prayer. Preach and teach in local congregations on the biblical theme, “Unleashing God’s Power through Prayer.” Lead “Mobilizing Your Church to Pray” workshops, help pastors find a prayer ministry coordinator for their church and organize a prayer action team in their church. Provide resources for local church prayer coordinators to work alongside their pastor in building a House of Prayer in their local congregation. Assess church’s prayer needs, organize prayer action teams, provide a prayer action organizational chart with position descriptions and help develop a prayer strategy involving the entire congregation. Work with Pastors and Prayer Ministry Coordinators to raise the level of prayer in the personal life and corporate life of their congregation to become a “House of Prayer for All Nations.” (Jesus – Mark 11:17)
